Welcome (a new) Mike
We have a new team member! We’re very excited to announce that Mike Thirlwell has today joined ProPensions to further strengthen our professional trustee offering. Mike joins from Barnett Waddingham where he spent over seven years as an investment consultant advising a wide range of pension scheme clients, from small defined benefit schemes to multi billion pound defined contribution schemes. As well as doubling the number of Mikes in the business, Mike Thirlwell’s experience is an ideal complement to the actuarial and legal backgrounds of Mike Kennedy and Jane Foley, enhancing our expertise and service to our growing number of trustee appointments. Mike’s arrival will also enhance our sole trustee offering, which has grown significantly over the last year.
ProPensions has now been appointed by 21 employers across the UK, covering 28 individual schemes that provide pension benefits to over 9,000 members. Our combined actuarial, legal and investment experience can benefit schemes regardless of where they are on their journey. With Mike onboard, this will allow us to continue the growth we have experienced to date, and to help more businesses and trustee boards to manage their pension schemes more effectively.
