Jane Foley
Jane has specialised in pensions since qualifying as a solicitor in 2005. Since then Jane has worked in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London for international law firm CMS, and most recently as a senior associate in the Brodies LLP pensions team based in Edinburgh. During her time in private practice, Jane built on her experience whilst on a compliance-related secondment for a large pension provider in Edinburgh, providing key legal advice on a wide variety of occupational defined benefit pension schemes. Jane also provided an ad hoc pensions advisory consultancy service to a law firm in Scotland during a short career break from private practice.
Jane is based in Edinburgh and is fully accredited by the Association of Professional Pension Trustees.
Jane has a wealth of experience in advising trustee boards and employers of varying sizes and across a diverse range of sectors on the legal issues facing their schemes. She has a particular interest and focus on taking a holistic approach to pension scheme operation and management.
